The NRA Store has rolled out a new product that hunters, hikers and any other outdoorsman or woman should keep an eye on. The NRA Tactical Waterproof Blanket should make a worthwhile addition to anyone's wares before they head afield.

Built with an impermeable outer shell that's water and windproof, the blanket is meant to serve as a survival tool. The outer shell is bonded to insulating fleece to keep its user warm and shield them from the wind, water and cold. Six rustproof metal grommets also allow the blanket to double as a tent or lean-to. It can also be turned into a dry bag, water reservoir, wood tarp or shooting mat.

Sized to fit a full-sized bed, the blanket is fairly large. It rolls compactly into its own carry harness for easy transport. It ships with an MSRP of $69.95.
