First Look: Umarex AirSaber Arrow Rifle

For 2020, Umarex introduces the AirSaber, a bolt-action, pre-charged pneumatic (PCP) arrow rifle. The rifle has the look and feel of a modern firearm, but it shoots arrows. The unit is powered by 3,625 psi of compressed air, sending arrows downrange at over 450 fps.

Umarex AirSaber arrows are 276 grains and include a 100-grain field tip, generating 169 ft.-lbs. of kinetic energy. The AirSaber comes with three arrows, integrated pressure gauge, quick connect air filling probe, all-weather stock, and integrated Picatinny rail to attach your optic, quiver, or bipod. When fully charged, the AirSaber will send 25 consistent shots. The rifle is 41 inches long and weighs 6.85 pounds without a scope and is currently legal for hunting in eight states.
