AmericanHunter.org is proud to launch "Whitetail Week," a new online-only initiative designed to deliver as much content as possible about North America's favorite game animal.

No North American game animal is pursued as commonly—and in all likelihood, as passionately—as the whitetail deer. Each fall hope springs eternal as millions of hunters dream of adhering their tag to the buck they've been monitoring for months, if not years. The United States is a country of whitetail hunters, and we've decided to launch an online initiative with just that in mind. Hence, "Whitetail Week." For the final week of each month this fall, AmericanHunter.org will dedicate itself entirely to original whitetail-exclusive content. Our editors will deliver a week's worth of feature stories, tips and videos all focused on our nation's favorite game.

Meanwhile, our social media platforms will deal exclusively in the latest whitetail-related content throughout each event week. Readers will be able to find all of our new whitetail coverage on the AmericanHunter.org Facebook, Twitter and Google+ accounts. An event-appropriate hashtag, #WhitetailWeek, will be utilized on Twitter.

Further, four special "Whitetail Week" e-newsletters will go out later this fall. Each will feature the corresponding week's whitetail coverage, along with additional online content. The first e-newsletter mails on Aug. 28, 2014, and four special "Whitetail Week" editions will follow.

"Whitetail Week" E-Newsletter Dates:

• Sept. 22
• Oct. 22
• Nov. 22
• Dec. 22

*Mailing dates are subject to change.
