The new B14 Series Bergara Match Precision (BMP) Chassis Rifle from Bergara Rifles is chambered in both the .308 Winchester and the 6.5 Creedmoor, and is made for long-range shooting and hunting.
Set in a chassis machined from solid 7075-T6 aluminum, the chassis features QD attachment points, a Magpul M-LOK stock, a molded mag well that takes AICS magazines and an AR-style pistol grip.
The stock is fully adjustable in the riser, length of pull and in the recoil pad, which can also be angled left and right, as well as up or down. A side-folding adapter will also be available to shorten the rifle’s length, or can be completely removed to put on any aftermarket AR stocks, as the buffer tube is an AR design.
The barrel, a #5 contoured button rifled barrel, made by Bergara of course, is threaded 5/8″X24 to fit most muzzle devices, including suppressors. In .308, the rifle is 20″ long with a 1:10″ twist, and a 24″ barrel with a 1:8″ twist in the 6.5. To further aid in accuracy, the rifle features an adjustable trigger. All this is backed by Bergara’s sub-MOA guarantee using factory ammo.
With all of these features, a rifle in .308 weighs just over 10 pounds, and one in 6.5 Creedmore weighs 11 pounds exactly.
While not necessarily cheap, you get what you pay for, and for $1,699, that's a lot of bang for your buck.
