Ravin, the company that ushered in a new era of crossbow design and performance with the release of the Ravin R9 and its innovative HeliCoil technology, has just introduced what is poised to be their most accurate crossbow to date, the Ravin LR.

Designed with lightning-fast speed and long-range accuracy at the forefront, the Ravin LR takes its cues from today’s modern long-range rifles sporting a longer, 34-inch profile for increased balance and reduced recoil, an adjustable comb to provide optimum eye-to-scope alignment and an adjustable length of pull for a customizable fit. Topping off those features is a 1-8x24mm adjustable turret scope, a full-length Picatinny rail that makes mounting optics and accessories a breeze, and an excellent trigger with a consistent 2.5-pound pull weight. Able to launch bolts at a screaming 450 feet per second (fps), the Ravin LR houses up to 222 foot-pounds (ft.-lbs.) of kinetic energy to provide incredible long-range accuracy out to 135 yards.

“With the launch of the LR, we are bringing real, never-before-seen innovation to the crossbow industry by pushing the boundaries of accuracy to distances,” said Russ Rowan, chief brand officer at Ravin Crossbows. “The LR is set to revolutionize the crossbow world by extending seasons and providing more opportunities to achieve success when it matters most.”

Along with its long-range ergonomics, the Ravin LR boasts a fully integrated silent cocking and de-cocking crank-based system for stealthy operation and comes fully assembled and ready to go, including three arrows and an arrow quiver, right from the box.
