Hornady has announced the addition of 6.5 Creedmoor to its popular American Whitetail line of ammunition. Loaded with a Hornady 129 grain InterLock bullet, the Creedmoor is designed to offer precision-based performance at extended ranges.

Originally developed by Hornady as a match cartridge, 6.5 Creedmoor has established itself as an effective hunting round. It's capable of taking most North American game, up to and including elk. It offers light recoil without sacrificing speed or precision.

"The 6.5 Creedmoor is a very economical and ballistically efficient cartridge. Its flat-shooting, hard-hitting and accurate performance make it the perfect addition to the American Whitetail® line," said Neil Davies, Hornady Director of Marketing.

The 6.5 Creedmoor American Whitetail load is now available from stocking dealers, major retail sporting goods stores and their websites.
