Legacy Sports International, Inc. has announced the new Howa Chassis Rifle (HCR), a new long-range rifle that comes with a host of features for precision shooters and hunters.
The rifle’s key feature, the chassis, is made from 6061-T6 aluminum and features an adjustable comb, adjustable length of pull anywhere from 12.5″ to 17.75″, as well as a 6-position buffer tube, pistol grip and a free-floating M-Lok forend. The magazine on the Chassis is a 10-round detachable magazine. The HCR comes in either black or MultiCam.
The rifle is available in two different barrel profiles and lengths, a 22″ standard barrel contour or a 20″ or 24″ HBAR contour. The rifle is chambered in common calibers such as the .223, .243, 6.5 Creedmoor, and .308, and the standard contour variant opens up to the .204 and 7mm-08, as well. The safety is a three-position safety, and the setup is rounded out with a two-stage trigger.
A scoped package will also be available that will include a Nikko scope and quick release steel rings.
All rifles come with the new Legacy Sports International Lifetime Warranty and the Howa Sub-MOA Guarantee.
As for price, the MSRP for these rifles is set at $1,239 for the basic black rifle, $1,449 for the MultiCam variant, $1,499 for the black scoped package and $,1725 for the scoped MultiCam setup.
