New for 2024: Real Avid Bore Max Master Cleaning Kit & Mobile Work Station

Real Avid has debuted a new self-contained firearm cleaning kit, housed in an O-ring sealed, clamshell workstation. Inside this shell is an assortment of tools and accessories, further nested inside stackable sections for a vast variety of firearm types. Rubber gun-grip yolks cradle long guns, while Real Avid's Smart-Assist Quick-Connect accessory system docks into one of the station’s four corners, with a rechargeable work light for detail work.

Of course, no cleaning and maintenance kit would be complete without a cleaning rod, jags and brushes. For the first of these, the company supplies its brand-new compression-lock three-piece speed rod, which uses O-rings to keep rod sections from unlocking during use. Bore-Max brushes and jags are also included, in sizes which service .22- to .45-caliber pistols and .223- to .30-caliber rifles, along with shotguns tools for either 12- or 20-gauge models.

Real Avid has also thrown in its Accu-Grip brushes and steel picks, which boast a rounded contour to prevent the marring of delicate surfaces and finishes. Distinct brush shapes also help access hard to reach places. Finally, a bore guide helps save chambers and rifling lands.

This kit is a one-stop-shop for the hunter who likes to do his own maintenance and modification. It is expansive enough to cover almost the full gamut of rifles, pistols and shotguns a hunter may have in his collection, yet portable enough to take anywhere. Whether conducting standard maintenance and cleanup, or more invasive procedures that require taking the firearm down, the Master Cleaning Kit & Mobile Work Station gives users a leg up on the job.
