Franchi Cropped Version

Franchi is a leader in precision firearms. The Italian gunmaker introduced its Momentum bolt-action rifle for hunters some years ago. Now it adds to the Momentum lineup with the Carbine Elite, a new run-and-gun-style rifle built with a short carbon barrel. Franchi calls it the “answer to hunters who place a premium on maneuverability in close environments and who favor a light, agile platform.” You could call it a patrol rifle for hunters.

The Momentum Elite was designed for hunters who like a a fast-handling rifle that is also short enough to make it convenient to climb in and out of a truck, in and out of a blind, and up and down a stand ladder. Now the Momentum Carbine Elite takes the patrol rifle style up a notch with shorter barrel lengths. Rifles chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor will feature 20-inch barrels. Rifles chambered in .308 Win. and 350 Legend will feature 18-inch barrels. Regardless of caliber, all barrels profiles will be straight and fluted, with muzzles threaded.

All Momentums operate with Franchi’s one-piece, spiral-fluted Dependa bolt with three locking lugs for a short bolt throw, ideal beneath a riflescope. A Cobalt Cerakote finish coats the bolt handle, receiver, barrel and removable included muzzle brake. Other features include a detachable box magazine, a one-piece Picatinny rail ready for the optic of your choice, integrated QD swivel sockets and M-LOK mounting points, and Franchi’s 2- to 4-pound adjustable Relia triger.

The compact Evolved Ergonom-X stock also improves the handling characteristics of the Momentum Carbine Elite with contoured touchpoints on the pistol grip and cheekpiece, and its contoured TSA recoil pad that minimizes catching on bulky clothing while reducing recoil by up to 50 percent. All Momentum Carbine Elite rifles are covered in the new, exclusive Franchi Terra camo pattern created to blend with many hunting environments. Franchi guarantees 1 MOA with factory premium ammunition. MSRP is $1,249. Learn more about the Franchi Momentum Carbine Elite at FranchiUSA.com.
