SEVR Ti 4 Blade Hybrid Broadhead

SEVR's original Ti 1.5 has won more industry accuracy tests than you can imagine and has become popular with bowhunters worldwide.

The original Ti 1.5 features a more swept-back blade cutting angle for maximum penetration, and the Lock-and-Pivot Blades remain fully contained in the ferrule and lock open on impact. As the solid billet, needle-point titanium ferrule penetrates, the blades pivot around bone and the like to keep the arrow driving straight through the animal. This is true even on steep quartering shots, which negates deflection. Two years ago, from 61.5 yards, I let a once-in-a-lifetime arrow go on a Rocky Mountain Bighorn Sheep. The shot was from an ultra-steep angle on a slightly quartering-to ram, and the SEVR-tipped arrow drove straight through.

SEVR Straight Through

For 2025, SEVR expanded its Ti family with the Ti 1.5 4-Blade Hybrid. While all the above features remain, the 1.5 4-Blade Hybrid features a .7-inch wide fixed bleeder blade. Adding the bleeder blade boosts the overall cutting diameter to 2.2 inches, an increase of 46 percent over the standard Ti 1.5.

Another SEVR must-note SEVR feature is Practice Lock. Broadheads are pricy, and bowhunters owe it to the game animals we pursue to practice with the broadheads we plan to hunt with. SEVR's Practice Lock allows the user to add a second included set screw into the ferrule to lock the blades in place. With Practice Lock, bowhunters can practice with the same broadhead they plan to hunt with by removing the screw and replacing the O-Ring.

I shot SEVR's Ti 1.5 4-Blade Hybrid out to 130 yards on the range. The broadhead (don't ask me how) is even more accurate than the original. Thanks to SEVR's Stretch Cut blade effect, the entrance and exit holes are ridiculous. Stretch Cut stretches the hide while cutting, resulting in wider-than-the-blade cuts.

SEVR in whitetail buck

I harvested two whitetail bucks and one mountain lion this past season with SEVR's shiny new penny. The blood trails were insane, and the animals' combined distance of travel post-shot was less than 130 yards.

The Ti 1.5 4-Blade Hybrid comes in 100 and 125-grain options, and because SEVR is direct to the consumer ($19.99 per head), custom quantities are available. The broadhead will work with today's high-speed crossbows, making it an excellent choice for any big-game outing. For more information, visit sevrbroadheads.com.
