NRA Women's Wilderness Escape

Ladies: Interested in shooting and hunting with other ladies (no boys allowed)? If so, the NRA is offering the 2014 Women's Wilderness Escape. The event features two sessions at the NRA Whittington Center at Raton, N.M. Session One will be held Sept. 20-27, 2014 and Session Two follows immediately from Sept. 28 through Oct. 5. The eight-day experience is open to both novices and seasoned participants. Top firearm instructors will coach ladies in the shooting of small-bore rifle silhouette, scoped/tactical carbine, long range high-power rifle, conventional and tactical pistol, historic firearms and shotgun (five-stand).

Participants will reside in the Competitor Housing Complex of the Whittington Center, eat in the dining facility and hunt deer, elk and antelope. Food, housing, guns, ammunition, targets, classes, evening activities, instructors, demonstrations and adventures are all included.
