Photos: Snow Goose Madness in South Dakota

Though the moniker has long been attributed to annual NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, I think it could easily be argued that "March Madness" should really be what we call the Spring Light Goose Conservation Order. Those brave few hunters that partake in it each year understand what I'm saying, at least. Chasing snow geese across the great prairies of the United States can be thrilling and rewarding, but frustrating and taxing—mentally and physically—as well. Associate Editor Jon Draper and I recently returned from our second goose-driven trip to South Dakota. You can get an inside look at our hunt with the photos embedded above.
