Proof Research Debuts Tundra Rifle

The latest long-range platform from Proof Research, the Tundra rifle has been designed with challenging hunting environs in mind, and a further eye to weight savings. Combining the adjustability and performance of a tactical rifle, with the design necessary to meet the demands of high-country hunting, the Tundra is a bolt-action in Proof's Terminus rifle family. With a starting weight of only 7 pounds 3 ounces, a carbon-fiber stock and Sendero-contour carbon-fiber barrel keep weight to a minimum, while retaining sub-½ MOA accuracy.

The Tundra’s carbon-fiber stock features an adjustable Monte Carlo-style adjustable cheek piece for a customized fit. A BDL-style magazine has been utilized to better seat cartridges, while a TriggerTech trigger boasts a crisp break and short reset. Machined to tight tolerances, the Defiance Ruckus bolt-action has a guaranteed headspace of +/-.001-inches. Completing the  rifle is the aforementioned Sendero-profile carbon-fiber barrel, the muzzle of which comes threaded to 5/8-24 TPI with a thread protector, and is ready for the installation of any aftermarket muzzle device.
