Stealth Cam Revolver 360 Trail Camera

Stealth Cam’s recent launch of its Revolver 360-Degree Cellular Trail Camera redefines how you prepare for hunting season, by offering what essentially amounts to six cameras in one compact package. This game-changing device captures 4MP, 8MP, 16MP and 36MP photos, along with 1080p HD videos with audio, using an innovative 360-degree model. With the ability to cover up to six different zones, it provides a detailed panoramic view of its surroundings, day and night. Before, animals were required to be in front of the camera to be photographed or caught on video.  No longer is this the case, as even those animals approaching directly behind the camera are "caught on tape", ensuring you have the complete story of what is happening in your favorite hunting spot.

The Revolver 360’s silent, pivoting motor enables multiple photos from a single vantage point when a zone is triggered. This super-quick response delivers high-quality images and videos in real time, making it perfect for food plots, trail intersections, and more. Users can select from three photo operation settings: single-zone capture, 180-zone capture, and 360-zone capture.  Four powerful LEDs offer an impressive 80-foot detection range, allowing you to see exactly where the animals are approaching from, and where they are going once past your camera. Combined with a 0.4-second trigger speed, burst mode and timelapse capabilities, the Revolver provides reliable updates around the clock. Do you only wish to capture images during a specific time frame to save on battery life?  No problem, as this is but one of many customizations you can make within the easy-to-navigate app on your smartphone.  Additionally, the integrated GPS feature will share the camera’s coordinates, ensuring you know exactly where your images are coming from in case you have multiple cameras deployed.

Panoramic camera views

As for the camera itself, it is powered by a sixteen AA batteries and features a ¼-inch threaded mount, a 12V DC auxiliary jack, and an optional t-post mounting bracket. It is compatible with the Command Pro app, enhancing user experience with seamless control and management. Should you wish to mount it in a traditional manner, you will also receive a heavy-duty canvas strap for tool-less installation in the woods or on a fence post. For an uninterrupted 360-degree viewing of your camera’s surroundings, simply install (with the included bracket) on a standard t-post found at your local hardware store.

Mounting camera on T Post

Installing the Stealth Cam Revolver 360 in the field is straightforward and efficient, ensuring you can start monitoring your chosen area with minimal hassle. Begin by selecting a suitable location, such as a tree or field edge, where the camera can maximize its 360-degree coverage. Using the included t-post mounting bracket or the ¼-inch threaded mount, secure the camera at the desired height and angle. Ensure the camera is firmly attached and stable, then connect any auxiliary power sources if needed.  If you are looking to extend battery performance, it is worth checking out the solar power add-on available online. Once mounted, configure the camera settings via the Command Pro app, select your preferred photo and video modes, and activate the desired PIR zones for motion detection. With the integrated GPS and real-time photo and video capabilities, the setup is complete and the camera is ready to give you a sneak peek into the woods or fields you will soon be hunting.

The ability to monitor 360 degrees offers significant benefits, particularly for large open areas and food plots. Traditional trail cameras with limited fields of view can miss crucial activities happening just out of their range. The Revolver's 360-degree coverage eliminates blind spots, capturing a full panorama of the surroundings. This all-inclusive visibility ensures you can monitor wildlife movements, track patterns and observe behaviors without needing multiple cameras. Additionally, the silent pivoting motor and seamless integration with the Command Pro app and HuntStand make it easy to manage and review captured data, enhancing your ability to make informed decisions based on real-time information. Motion detection can be activated in any individual selection of the six PIR zones, or all six for full 360-degree coverage. Users can select from various image capture modes, including single-zone photo, single-zone video, 180-degree photo, and 360-degree photo.  What is even better is all customization selections can be operated from the comfort of your home via the camera's app instead of hiking into your hunting spot, tracking in your scent and disrupting the woods just to change a camera setting. With the ability to integrate with HuntStand, you can manage your trail cameras with little effort while still maximizing results.  Users can import markers, view photos, and check camera status within the app, creating a seamless hunting and surveillance experience. Another great feature is the option to receive an on-demand photo, allowing you to not only test your camera’s operation but also to check on the weather conditions at your hunting spot … a definite bonus when hunting in inclement weather or locations known for their ability to have less than predictable weather patterns.

All in all, it is easy to see why this camera has quickly become a favorite amongst hunters this summer.  The more information one can have before heading into the woods the better.  Educating oneself on the behavioral patterns of the animals in the woods helps lead to more successful hunts and a better understanding of the ecosystem in general.  With knowledge comes great power, and it's up to you to use it effectively!  For more information on the Revolver-360 Cellular Trail Camera and everything Stealth Cam has to offer visit stealthcam.com.
