Snow Lizard Products has announced the new SLXtreme, a battery-powered, solar charged and rugged waterproof case for the iPhone 4/4S, iPhone 5 and iPad2+.

The SLXtreme is designed and built with tough, polycarbonate materials and rubber grips. The case meets military standard MIL-STD-810 and IP68 dust tight ratings and protects against complete and continuous submersion in up to two meters of water. The iPhone is secured with a top-loading hatch that fully protects it, while still providing access to the camera, volume controls and more.

A series of mounting accessories will also be available, including an SLX Extreme Belt Clip, Bike Mount and Chest Mount.
