This week, we’re taking a closer look at the Big Boy Color Case Hardened Side Gate lever-action rifle from Henry Repeating Arms. Finished in a beautiful color case hardening, this stylish lever gun combines classic and modern features for the best of both worlds. While the traditional magazine tube-loading slot is still in place under the barrel, Henry has added a side loading gate to the Big Boy's receiver, providing a faster option for topping off the 10-round magazine. Available calibers include .44 Mag/Spl, .45 Colt, and .357 Mag/.38 Spl, with a 20-inch, or 16.5-inch carbine-length octagonal barrel. Learn more about this gorgeous Western-style hunter in the video embedded above, hosted by Digital Associate Editor David Herman. MSRP: $1,198; henryusa.com.
