#SundayGunday: Mossberg MVP Precision Rifle

Bolt-action rifles built on aluminum chassis have been gaining popularity with some hunters in recent years, mainly because they offer the degree of accuracy required to make shots at longer ranges, and come with features that enhance ergonomics and fit. The Mossberg MVP Precision is a great example of the chassis rifle, and comes with several features that hunters will find appealing. The CNC-machined aluminum chassis that serves as part of the stock offers a very stable, rigid and precisely fitting platform for the barreled action, and the tubular fore-end leaves the 24-inch barrel free-floating, both of which promote accuracy. It sports a Luth-AR MBA-3 buttstock that is adjustable for length of pull, cast and comb height, and the MVP’s innovative, dual-lugged, push-feed bolt design permits feeding from standard AR-style detachable box magazines.Learn more about it in the video embedded above, hosted by Executive Editor Adam Heggenstaller. MSRP: $1,407; mossberg.com.
