Handgun hunting has long been something of a niche market in the hunting world, and its practitioners have typically relied on big bore revolvers to make their meat. At least in regards to medium- and large-sized game, anyway. Thing is, for a long time there just weren’t many semi-automatic pistols that were chambered in calibers that handgun hunters found sufficient. So, as you might imagine, a few ears perked up two years ago when SIG Sauer announced that its classic P220 single-stack would soon be available in 10 mm.
