This week, were taking a look at the Springfield Armory Ronin 1911. A 1911 built for the backcountry, the Ronin's 10mm Auto chambering makes for the ultimate close-range defense caliber, or hog hunter. A full-sized Government frame, constructed from stainless steel, keeps the gun free from corrosion, while helping to soak up some prodigious recoil. For more information on this veritable hand cannon, check out the video embedded above, hosted by Digital Associate Editor, David Herman. MSRP: $849; springfield-armory.com
