In the ever-evolving world of social media, we are constantly looking for new ways to connect with our readers. The latest way appears to be a mobile app called CamoSpace, designed specifically for members of the hunting community to be able to share images of their adventures without fear of censure. The format will be familiar to regular social media users, cutting down on any learning curve. Photos, videos, and creative captions are all welcome. Of course, the app isn't limited to just hunters, either. Anglers, hikers, campers and outdoorsmen of any and all stripes are encouraged to join.

Don't just take it from us, however, take it from Chad Belding, star of the The Fowl Life and founder of more outdoor brands than we can count: "Hunting stories have been being told for centuries. Some true and some with a little extra thrown in. All of them deserve to be told and heard and it’s time that hunters have a home to tell their stories. Whether it’s about your first duck or your grand slam of gobblers, CamoSpace is where we can all gather to celebrate the passion of the hunt!"

Check us out on the CamoSpace app, downloadable here, under the moniker American Hunter Magazine. camospace.com

Help!” Tucker texted back, “What do you want me to do?” I replied: “Come kill the bastard before he kills me!” Intrigued? Read on.

Behind the Bullet: The .308 Norma Magnum

Norma’s ballistician Nils Kvale saw the wisdom of having the velocity and horsepower of the .300 H&H Magnum, but in a shorter, more affordable receiver, and used the H&H case to develop his .358 Norma Magnum in 1959 as well as the .308 Norma Magnum one year later. The .308 Norma Magnum closely resembles the wildcat .30-338 cartridge, though the shoulder of the former is located a bit more toward the base than that of the .308 Norma Magnum. Intrigued? Read on about this often unfairly overlooked hunting classic.
